Medical, Inc. Film Coming out In Favor of Chiropractors!

I was delighted when I found out about Jeff Hayes’ latest film, Medical, Inc., due to be released summer 2012. Once you’ve seen this film, you’re going to have to question the medical model of health care. Many people have been buying into the premise that, if health insurance covers the cost of something, a drug as opposed to a chiropractor, for example, then the drug is the better choice for them.

Let’s see…does your health insurance cover the cost of running along the beach? No, but it might cover the cost of running on a treadmill in a cardiac rehab. unit, yay! Does your health insurance cover the cost of organic vegetables? No! But you’re covered for pesticide-induced cancer. Does your health insurance cover the difference between comfy cotton socks and funky polyester ones? No, but it might cover the anti-fungal cream you’ll need later.

As I have said before, there is a great divide between the health care industry and actually being healthy. When we really start to get this concept, as a nation, it’s going to be a brand new game for all of us. Where will your health be when the medical industry’s day is done?
