Vegan Cookbooks are Hot Reading
If you’ve read my blog article “Why There’s No Magazines in my Office” you may wonder, what can you do if you’re stuck in my waiting room besides watch the clock and read Heinerman’s Encyclopedia of Nuts, Seeds, and Berries? I know some chiropractors have big aquariums. That’s nice. We have a coffee and tea bar, and lots and lots of books you can grab and read or borrow. Lately, what’s popular with people is a little paperback by Jay Kordich called The Juiceman’s Power of Juicing. I am going to have to get extra copies for you so you won’t miss out.
My patients like juicing. This makes me happy. My patients rock.
Getting healthier is what I want you to dream about while waiting for your chiropractic adjustments. I was just online trying to find you some more books on healthy eating. What I found is that anything vegan is a hot topic right now. You may be able to get a used copy of The Hobbit for $.01 through Amazon, but Ten Talents, the healthy living manual by Frank and Rosalie Hurd, is going to set you back fifteen bucks. Folks all over are looking for vegan cookbooks and snapping them up. People, what does this say? Soon, more of your friends from Fontana to Claremont will be asking you for your Super Sun Burger recipe at the next barbecue. (hint: it’s in Ten Talents on page 311 but I have it for you here:Super Sun Burgers. And while you are bragging about your healthier lifestyle, just throw it out there that you got the recipe from your chiropractor, Sharon Martinez D.C.
