Sunday, April 1, 2012, I hope you will join us for a field trip. From ten to noon, Melissa and I will be at Living Water Farm’s open house at the top of Mills Ave. in Claremont (3643 N. Mills Ave., Claremont, 91711). We’re hoping you will be inspired to do a little urban farming of your own, but there will also be an opportunity to check out joining the Farm’s co-op. After the garden visit, meet us at The Last Drop coffee shop in downtown Claremont, just for fun.

The more we learn about and support small urban farms like Living Water Farm, the better off we will all be. It’s so important that we have access to locally grown, organic foods! From my readings, it’s becoming apparent that the levels of pesticides and other environmental toxins within our bodies is hitting a critical mass. Too many of us are experiencing degradation of health as a result. Let’s be proactive and learn now how to create better health for ourselves and our families. Our futures depend on it.

For more information on, visit www.myrahouse.com or see the open house invitation Living_Water_Farm-022412-2.

For more information on the benefits of a plant-based diet high in organic foods, I highly recommmend Dr. Michael Gregor’s daily informational videos (you can subscribe to them) at nutritionfacts.org.
